ONCE UPON A TIME......an attractive, ambitious woman went into a beautiful store with a reputation for excellent quality merchandise. She said to the owner, "Sir, I would like to work for you. I will work really hard, and do a great job. In return, I would like the following:"

"Second, I will find other sharp people to sell for you, and I want to be paid a commmission on everything they sell.....say 12%."

"Third, I want to work my own hours so sometimes I can work alot or sometimes, I can just take off for a day or two."

"Fourth, after four months I would like the use of a car (I really prefer an elegant red color, and I think a beautiful compliment to that would be a rich velour interior.) By the way, I want it to be FREE. You pay the insurance, taxes, license, inspection and every two years, I want a brand new one delivered."

"Fifth, my family must always come first, regardless of any other appointments I may have."

"Sixth, when I do well, I want ample recogition -- not dumb things like turkeys or hams -- I mean diamonds and furs."

"Last, I want to be able to promote myself to management entirely through my own efforts."

"This is what I would like. Can you give me these things?"

The store manager was in shock. After he revived, he began to roar with condescending laughter. Then he said, "Lady, you CANNOT be serious!! You're living in a dream world. You can't find that opportunity anywhere!!"
